The variety pack includes three 12-ounce boxes each of Tri-Color Penne and Tri-Color Rotini. Penne, one of the most famous Italian pasta shapes, is named for the quill of an old-style ink pen. Rotini, on the other hand, means 'twists' and are 2-inch lengths of thick, colorful screw-like pasta.
