Since 1886, we at de Cecco have taken great care in the production of our pasta. We gently grind the heart of each grain, mix it with cold spring water, and then slowly knead the dough. This meticulous process results in pasta with the exceptional de Cecco aroma, flavor, and consistency. Our pasta cooks to perfection, with a great firm texture and a delicious "fresh" pasta taste. The rougher surface helps the sauce stick to it beautifully.

Even though our love for tradition has not changed, we have continued to improve our production technologies. We still prefer our pasta to be bronze drawn and slowly dried, as we believe this allows it to fall onto the plate full of taste, rough and always "al dente." Fettucine are part of the long, flat pasta family, popular all over Italy, albeit with different local names. The origins of this type of pasta are not entirely clear, but they are believed to have originated in Lazio, where they are the pride of regional cooking. Fettuccine are very versatile and suitable for a variety of sauces. They are particularly recommended in pasta dishes with tomato and meat ragùs, as well as excellent for preparing fish-based sauces, especially those with shellfish.

Available in 16.0 oz and 5 lb packages, our fettucine are made from 100% Durum Wheat Semolina, are GMO-free, and contain no trans fat, no saturated fat, and no added sugar. Shaped through Bronze Dies, the pasta has a rough surface that helps it better retain the sauce. Slowly dried at low temperatures, this process preserves the nutritional properties of the pasta. Our fettucine are Kosher certified and made in Italy.
